Morning Invocation
Today, I hold a sacred tone in my being.
Today, I hold a sacred tone in my being.
I spend time in my morning remembering what is sacred to me.
Whether or not I grew up in a culture or a home that taught me what is sacred, I define it for myself.
I feel what it feels like in my body to hold a sacred tone. I carry that, with honor and dignity.
When I start to slip in to an existence that is casual and mundane, that forgets the sacred, I come back to my practice. I remember in the depths of my being, what I hold to be sacred, and I carry that like a torch, into every room that I walk into.
Into every airplane, or bus, or post office, or workplace… I carry a sacred tone that says: “I’m in reverence to this life. I am in reverence to the great mystery. I see that there is more to this than meets the eye.”
Today, I hold a sacred tone in my being. Even without words, my presence, my energy, says that I hold the sacred close.

Love! “Sacred tone”. This morning I allowed myself to read in the sun ☀️ before my to do list. I have many books I never give myself permission to pick up because I get distracted or I feel shame around taking that time. But today I remembered that it is essential, it is sacred to me 💗📚
