Today, I make space for paradox.
I note the laws of the universe — that there are many things that lie in opposition.
Instead of trying to figure things out and live in a world of absolutes and answers, I make space for paradox.
I make space for radical contradictions.
I make space for mystical questions that linger in the air of my life.
I let myself be in the discomfort and in the waters of my not knowing.
I honor that paradoxes exist all around me.
I am happy and I am sad at once.
The world is both beautiful and tragic at once.
I'm hopeful about a bright future for humanity, and I'm also nervous at once.
I let these paradoxes fill my heart and my life so that I don't get stuck in one corner of positive thinking or one corner of fatalistic thinking, but I honor the paradoxes that this reality holds.
Today, I make space for paradox.
