Today, I choose to feel.
I choose to feel all of my emotions, my sensations, the feelings in my body.
I choose to feel the air on my skin, the food in my mouth. I choose to feel my skin as it rubs against a loved one’s skin.
I choose to feel my sadness, instead of push it away.
I choose to feel my anger, instead of push it away.
I choose to feel my joy, and let it make me laugh out loud, even in a quiet room.
Today, I pull my thoughts into my body, and I make them feel.
Today, I don’t let my mental body lead, but I feel first. I open my heart and I feel my life.
I feel the good, I feel the bad. I feel the hard, I feel the easy… and all shades in between. I am brave in my feeling today.
I know that I can live my life in my head, or I can live my life embodied, feeling all of it. Today, I choose to feel.
