Morning Invocation AUDIO: Today, I remember that my value and my worth is not contingent on my achievements.
Today, I remember that my value and my worth are not contingent upon my achievements.
As much as the world around me may be affirming that I'm doing great if I'm achieving a lot, I remind myself that I'm doing great by being kind to myself and others, by the way that I love, the generosity of my love, and my care, and my presence, and my attention.
Am I present with people when I'm talking to them, or am I thinking about something else or looking at my phone?
Is my heart wide open? Can people feel me as loving, or do I seem distracted and busy?
Today, I remember that how I show up is even more important than what I do when I show up. That the energy behind my presence, my eyes, my embodiment is what there is of value.
Even when everything around me is oriented towards value, being something about what I've done and achieved, I remind myself that I get to choose - that my value lies within the energy, the presence, the heart, the love, and the embodiment that I show up with today.
