Today, I extend my heart into every room.

Today, I extend my heart into every room.

As I walk into a room, I imagine my heart's petals opening…

The scent of unconditional love descending upon everyone in the room.

I respond from love.

I act from love.

I monitor my thoughts and ask myself, are they coming from love?

This is my practice today. To not withhold my love. To not withhold my heart, but to extend it into every room.

To the people at the grocery store, the people waiting in their cars next to me at a stoplight.

To people that I just simply pass by on the street, to my friends and family and all I encounter.

I extend my heart.

I respond from my heart. With each breath, even without words, I let my heart’s practice, the devotion that I carry, be a shower of love upon every place that I step into.
