Today, I walk on the earth with honor.
I see that I am here on a limited time offer. I remember that I don’t know when I will go. I don’t know how I will go.
I look around me and I see all of the bounty of existence, pouring in on me.
Nature’s gifts - the sun, the air, water. The gifts of laughter and tears, affection and love. The scent of flowers, and the crack of thunder.
Instead of walking on this earth with my head buried in my phone, busy and worrying, I take a deep breath, and I walk on the earth with honor.
I honor my life, I honor my surroundings.
I honor this place that I call home.
I bring to it the presence of heart. I bring to it my full awareness, and I remember my life here is a gift. That I don’t know when I’ll go, or how I’ll go, and that it’s up to me to choose how I walk upon this earth.
Today, I walk with honor.
