Morning Invocation

Today I notice if I'm comparing myself, or holding myself to standards set by an un-well world.

Today I notice if I’m comparing myself, or holding myself to standards set by an un-well world.

Today I notice if I’m holding myself to these impossible standards… if I’m judging myself for not meeting standards that I see online or in others.

Today, I really ask myself the standards and the values that I want to set for myself.

I make a choice… not to accept the ones set by society, set by an un-well world.

I create my own standards.

I set my own values.

I create my own milestones in my life, instead of comparing myself to the standards and the milestones of others and their lives.

I create these new standards, in my home and my family and my community, from a place of wholeness and wellness.

And when I find my thoughts going towards comparison, or holding myself to impossible standards, I breathe, I laugh, I let them go.
