Morning Invocation

Today, I will not believe the lie that I need to do more.

Today, I will not believe the lie that I need to do more.

I will also not be passive and un-engaged in life.

I will take inspired action from my heart, and do it slowly, with love.

Anytime that I feel the anxiety of thinking that I need to do more, I need to go faster, I need to accomplish more… I take a breath and I slow down. I feel my hips and my thighs and my feet, I drop down and in to this body and I feel what is necessary for this moment.

What’s the next step for now? What’s the inspired action for today? I stay present within that, instead of letting myself trip into the future.
