Morning Invocation

I see nature as an extension of my body today.

I see nature as an extension of my body today.

As I look outside the window and I see the Earth - the trees, grass, budding flowers… I see myself, I see my body.

I feel my roots connecting with Her roots.

I honor the land that I live upon, as an extension of my being.

I place my hands upon the Earth, feeling the heartbeat of the Earth, knowing that it is my heartbeat.

Everywhere I go, I see nature as an extension of the body. I see the elements, the water in Her veins, and my veins, too.

The air… the air in my lungs, the fire in my heart… just like the fire in Hers.

The Earth, my body.

I reprogram any old beliefs that my body is dirty, that my body is not sacred, that my body isn’t fucking amazing. And I heal the split between my body and the Earth.

With every step I take, every song I sing, every dance, every pleasure I experience, I heal the split between nature and humanity.

I see nature as an extension of my body.

I heal Her as I heal myself.
