Today, I walk through my life with a spirit of appreciation.
Instead of looking around and seeing what I don’t have, I look and see what I do have. I put on my appreciation glasses today, and I look around my life.
I delight in what I have created for myself.
I delight in each piece of food that I eat.
I appreciate the colors and the beauty around me.
I appreciate the characters in my life.
I appreciate all the nourishment of books and podcasts and cards and words and poetry that I take in to my body and soul.
Today, I live from a spirit of appreciation, instead of the spirit of dissatisfaction.
I choose appreciation, even in moments where I feel disgruntled, or annoyed, or like I’m just not getting where I want to go. I see if I can find something to appreciate.
In these moments where I choose appreciation, I transform my dissatisfaction.
I open my heart.
I find something to smile about. I find something to find pleasure in.
As I appreciate all that I have created in my life, I make space for so much more.
