Today, I let my pleasure be revolutionary.
Every moment that I choose being in my body and being in my pleasure over being in fear, or worry, or being in my head I create an unspoken revolution in every room, where instead of burying my head in my phone, I feel the air on my skin, the sun kissing me.
I taste the food in my mouth.
I let my hands run over my thighs.
Each of these moments I choose to be present in my body, to feel pleasure in my body, and I let it be a tiny revolution in every room.
If everyone else is on their phone or thinking or worrying, I am the anchor that says: “WOW, look at the sun.”
“Oh my God, this tastes delicious!”
“Whooooo…”
I lean into a deep breath.
And this practice, is my day to day activism and revolutionary duty.
