and in the hearty deep and wild phase of book edits that takes all my writing juices

Hello Beloved Substack Family!

I wanted to say hello and explain why I have not written here in the last month. I have been deep in delicious book edits and have been using all my writing steam for that. However, my book is due 3/24 and I will be back here writing soon and have some things brewing that I am excited to muse on for you. :)

For those paid subscribers, I will also offer my writing rituals again starting in April. Thanks for your patience!

Writing a book is a massive task and I LOVE IT. I’m in the very detailed phase of edits where everything takes much longer as I move very slowly through each page pondering my choices of words and titles and metaphors carefully. It is such a practice of patience and moving slowly at this editing phase.

This book will arrive January 2024 and soon go into production and pre-order in a few months! I’m happy to be working with Sounds True again.

In the mean time, please find me on Instagram and via my podcast. I look forward to writing again here very soon.
