Feeling deep gratitude for this list and for your work Alexandra. I have been practicing talking with myself through a loving, kind, and compassionate voice during stressful moment (que my recent stressful moment: chasing my toddler in the store while making sure my other child does not break a nearby planter pot all while trying to order something). I said to myself “this is so hard Mary, please breathe and be kind with yourself, you are caring for so much right now.”

Beautiful, this feels so resonant. Thank you. I love the framework “I am experimenting with” it creates so much space fluidity and curiosity and articulates how to be in line with life itself emanating these qualities and experiments through us! Love love love

Yes- also allows space to “fail” or “practice” which i think we all need that grace

love. love. love all of this. as a parent of adult children, i’m experimenting with moving into elder-hood, letting go of being the parent, and becoming…making space for being the grandparent.

<3 <3 "I am experimenting..." oh the so many flavours it can bring! i love seeing/hearing about your second job.

I'm experimenting with owning my feelings and not sugar coating them; saying them with grace and heart AND letting them land where they will.

Love this list and I’m doing many of those same things. I’m also experimenting with saying what I need despite having an obvious resistance to doing so

oh yes! thanks for sharing that. that one is so big for me too...just HAVING the need, then, gulp, stating the need and not being so contained and self sufficient about it.
